Captain N: Re-Edited Episode 11: Having A Ball!

It's been a month since Captain N,Link and Princess Zelda saved Hyrule from Ganon and Mother Brain. Since then,Ganon and his minions have yet to counterattack. Mother Brain,on the otherhand,is always scheming to retake Videoland. Her latest plan involves the Legendary Triforce of Hyrule. 

It is midnight in Hyrule and, in the throne room where the 3 Triforces(wisdom,power,and courage) sit atop the throne. The two idiots arrive. King Hippo falls onto the ground and Eggplant Wizard onto him.

The 2 get up and head for Zelda's throne. King Hippo searches his shorts for the paper with the spell to release the Triforce.

Hippo: Ok, now to get the spell to release the Try-whatever.

Eggy: Hope you haven't forgotten to bring the spell that Mother Brain gave us.

Hippo: I have it.

He is unable to locate the paper with the spell,instead pulling out random lists and notes.

Hippo: (a bit embarrassed) I guess I must've forgot it.

Eggy: If Mother Brain finds out we messed up,She'll squash both of us.

Hippo: Not if I squash you first!

Eggy: Without the spell,how are are we gonna get these?

Hippo: Hey,no problem. I memorised it.

He tries to recite it from memory, but is unable to.  So he makes something up.

Hippo: By the Power of Triforce Of Hyrule!

The Triforce’s defense systems are suddenly triggered.

Eggy: You blue buffoon,you said the wrong incantation.

The 2 run off scared back into the warp.

Link runs in, ready to do battle

Link: Ok,who's ready for a slashing?

Zelda: Cool it,hero.

Zelda turns off the alarm.

Zelda: (annoyed) It seems the alarm is malfunctioning again. 3rd time it happened this week.

Link: (putting his sword away) So what are we gonna do about it,Princess?

Zelda: I'm going back to sleep. You organize the sentries to guard the Triforce.

Link: Right.
 
Zelda: (playfully)Good night!

Zelda kisses Link on the cheek and leaves. 

On Metroid,Mother Brain was watching the whole thing on her monitor via microscopic spy bot.

Mother Brain: Sentries? Ha! That Triforce is as good as mine..And this time I won't have you two to screw around. Because you are fired!

Hippo and Eggy don't take the news well.

Eggplant Wizard: F-Fired!?

Mother Brain: (yeling) Yeah,Fired. As in terminated,canned,jobless! Now out of my sight!

Using her tenticle as a pool stick,Mother Brain knocks her ex-minions out of her lair.

Mother Brain: With the Triforce in my posession,I'll be the the most powerful being in the Universe. I won't even need minions.

Suddenly,she outfits herself with Tank parts,including tank treads and cannons. Mother Brain was now armed and even more dangerous.

Mother Brain: With the Triforce,not even Ganon can oppose me.

Mother Brain laughs evilly.

Meanwhile,inside their room on Metroid,The two idiots pack up their items and ponder over what they’ll do.

King Hippo: (upset) After all we've done for that ugly loudmouth,this is how she repays us.

Hippo finishes stuffing his small bag.

King Hippo: What will we do now?

Eggplant Wizard: Well,how about we become wandering minstrels?

Meanwhile,in the Palace Courtyeard,Princess Lana,Captain N,Duke,and Simon have just returned from CastleVania. All exausted.

Kevin: Wow that adventure on CastleVania was crazy.

Simon: Ugh,the Count was definatly ready for us. These missions are so exausting.

Both Simon and Lana sit down.

Lana: I know what you mean,Simon.

Simon:(sighs) I miss the good old days before the war,when we had relaxing social gatherings and had fun.

Lana: Yeah. we had much fun and invited the most important people in Videoland.

Simon: (gets up) Ah,yes. The food,the dancing,the music,me looking fabulous as always.

Lana: (standing up) It was such a glorious time. Hey,why don't we have a ball. It would be a great time to loosen up and have fun.

Simon: An excellent idea,your cuteness.

Simon and Lana go for a walk and plan for the ball.

Lana: I wan't Kevin to experience what we did back before the war. I'd like to hold the ball tonight. Why,not we deserve it.

Simon: Tonight? but what will I wear?

Lana sees two ‘minstrels’(eggplant wizard and king hippo in disguise) walki g along.

Lana: Excuse me?

The minstrels stop and look at the Princess as she walks toward them.

Lana: Are you two minstrels available for tonight?

Hippo: Yeah.

Lana: Good,You see,we're having a party and we are in need of some musicians. Every important person in Videoland will be there and...

Eggy: (cuts her off) Everyone? Including Princess Zelda and Link?

Lana: Of course,they are the most important guests.

Eggy: We'll do it,Princess.

Lana: Great,we have to prepare. At the ball,there's gonna be free food,so help yourselves once you're there.

Hippo: (happily) Food!

Eggplant Wizard puts his hand on Hippo's mouth.

Eggy: Thank you,Princess.

As Princess Lana leaves. Eggy takes his hand off of Hippi's mouth.
 
Eggplant now realizes that, since everyone, including Link and Zelda, will be at the party, they’ll be able to steal the Triforce for themselves.

King Hippo: I wan't Food!

Eggplant Wizard: Forget the food! This is the chance of a lifetime!

King Hippo: Forget the food?!

Eggplant Wizard: Don't you get it?! If Link and Zelda are coming here, there won't be anybody left on Hyrule but their flunkies!

King Hippo: They'll give us food.

Eggplant Wizard: No, banana brain! The alarm's been turned off! We can steal the Triforce for ourselves!

King Hippo: Then we can make Ganon's servants give us food.

Eggy looks at hippo with disgust and annoyance.

Later that evening,at the Palace of Power,the Guests are arrive and are looking forward to having a fun time. The guests include: Bayou Billy,Dr.Wright,and of course..Princess Zelda and Link. The Hyrulians and N-Team are dressed up.

Zelda and Lana greet.

Lana: Zelda,I'm so glad you could come.

Zelda: I wouldn't miss this for the world.

Link and Kevin greet each other and laugh at how ridiculous they look in their formal wear.

Kevin: You look ridiculous.

Link: So do you. Balls aren't my thing.

Lana: C'mon Kevin,let's dance.

Lana makes Kevin dance with her and they do. Zelda dances with Link.

Meanwhile,at North Palace in Hyrule,King Hippo and Eggplant Wizard arrive in the throne room. The Eggplant Wizard drops a pumpkin on a lone sentry,knocking him out. The duo exit the warp.

Eggplant Wizard: Now that Zelly and Stink are out for the night,taking the Triforce is gonna be easy.

The 2 walk to the throne,where the Triforce is.

Eggy: Grab one!

Eggplant Wizard grabs the Triforce of Courage,while King Hippo grabs the Triforce of Power and the 2 pull them off of the throne,sending the Triforce of Wisdom flying off.

Outside,Mother Brain arrives in her "Tank Mode",scaring off the sentries. She then blasts open the outside wall of the throne room.

Mother Brain: Knock, knock! Who's there?! General Mother Brain! That's who!

Hippo and Eggy notice Mother Brain coming in.

Mother Brain: (upset to see her ex-minions) What are you two losers doing here? I fired you!

Eggplant Wizard: Do you smell something bad, old pal?

King Hippo: Yeah, old chum. Smells likes bimbo-in-a-bottle.

King Hippo uses the Triforce of Power to punch Mother Brain out of the palace. Mother Brain screams as she goes flying.

Eggplant Wizard creates a rocket from a squash and they fly out of the building.

Back at the Palace,As Kevin is jamming with the band,Zelda feels weak and falls into Link (or lanas) arms,shocking everyone. Kevin sees this and rushes toward Zelda.

Lana: Zelda!

Zelda:(weak) The Triforce....Something's wrong!

Zelda almost faints.

Link: The Triforce and Zelda are magically linked,if 2 or all 3 are in the hands of evil,Zelda will weaken...and maybe die.

Kevin: (determined) We have to hurry!

Hours later,Lana,Link,Duke,Kevin,and Zelda arrive at the palace of Hyrule. Link is helping Zelda stand. They are shocked at the wreckage that Mother Brain has made.

Kevin: Whoa! it looks like a demolition team was here.

Zelda sees her throne and sees that the Triforce are missing.

Zelda:(upset) No! The Triforce!

Zelda rushes to her throne and begins to cry. Suddenly,she finds the Triforce of Wisdom and picks it up.

Zelda: (relieved) The Triforce of Wisdom! Thank goodness. C'mon,the Triforce of Wisdom will lead us to the others.

The rocket that King Hippo and Eggplant Wizard were in crashes in the desert. The two get out,Hippo is angry.

Hippo: You have got to be the worst pilot ever!

Eggy: Me? It was your weight that caused the crash

Hippo: (taking offence) Watch it,Vegtable-breath!

A huge centipede creature appears and prepares to attack them. The dopes are scared out of their minds. However,the Triforce of Courage activates and causes the monster to stop.

Monster: I am your servent,Masters of the Triforce. Tell me what you desire.

Hippo and Eggy have managed to control the Monster with the Triforce.

Hippo: Take us to some Food...the best this planet has.

Eggy: And some 'peachy babes’ too.

Monster: As you wish.

Meanwhile,in another section of the desert,The heroes are walking through it,Zelda holding the Triforce of Wisdom. She grows weaker.

Zelda: Were are getting closer.

Zelda leans on a rock to rest.

Triforce of Wisdom :(speaking through Zelda) Patience is the jewel in the crown of wisdom.

Kevin:  Say what?

Link: It likes to sound mysterious.
 
Suddenly,They are attacked by stalfos knights and moblins. They fight the enemies and defeat them. They suddenly fall into a pit and are somehow in the tunnel to the Island Palace.

Kevin: This place looks familiar.

Zelda: This looks like the tunnel to the Island Palace,but it's not supposed to be here.

Triforce of Wisdom: (speaking through Zelda) The boundaries that bind Hyrule together are unbiding and that is why the planet is rearranging.

Link: We must be getting closer.

As the heroes press on to the Island Palace,they battle Goryias and other Hyrulian foes,like an Iron Knuckle. Hyrule becomes increasingly strange, but the heroes eventually reach the Great Palace,instead of the Island Palace. This is due to the "rearranging" caused by the Triforce split. They are stopped by a large wall.

Link: This isn't the Island Palace,this is the Great Palace!

Lana: How will we get in?

Kevin looks up and sees a Giant Bird. Kevin gets an Idea.

Kevin: I have an idea.

The bird sees The heroes and swoops down at them. Kevin hits his pause button. Kevin grabs a multi ended vine and lasso's one end to the birds leg and ties one of the other ends around his waist,the others do the same with the other ends.

Kevin unpauses and they are pulled up by the bird  and over the wall.

At the Great Palace,Eggplant Wizard and King Hippo are staying. Peaches dance with Eggy and King Hippo eats. Kevin is looking in and is in disbelief.

Kevin: It's Eggplant Wizard and King Hippo!

The heroes bust in,armed.

Kevin: Ok,you two drop the Triforce.

Hippo: Ha! We got you beat! We have the Triforce.

Eggy: So don't do anything stupid.

Seeing as how they are beat,Kevin decides to give up.

Kevin: Ok,you win. (puts zapper away) We are no match for you. We have the Triforce of Wisdom. You can have it.

Lana:(shocked) Kevin! What are you doing?

Link: (puts sword away,in "deep regret") He's right,Lana. We can't win! 

Link takes the Triforce from Zelda and follows Kevin as he walks toward Hippo and Eggy. Kevin takes the Triforce from Link.

Kevin:Here,you can have it.

Just as the heroes are about to surrender the Triforce, They knock the other 2 Triforce out of the villains hands.

Lana,and Link quickly grab a Triforce. Kevin,Lana,and Link hold there Triforce aloft,restoring Zelda's power.

Zelda: I want you out of my Kingdom..Now!!!

Using her restored power,Zelda forces Eggplant Wizard and King Hippo into a warp back to Metroid.

Back on Metroid,Mother Brain is getting ready to play a game of pool on a giant pool table. 2 of the Balls contain Eggy and Hippo,who are lined up.

Mother Brain: I was in need of some toadies,that's why I've taken you back. Wasn't that nice of me?

Hippo and Eggy: Yes,Mother Brain.

Mother Brain: (angry,yelling) But If You Ever,Ever Betray Me Again,I'll Make You Wish You Were Never Born!!

Hippo and Eggy: Yes,Mother Brain.

Mother Brain shoots the white ball into Eggplant Wizard and King Hippo,knocking them in seperate directions.

Note: Just 1 more episode of Season 2 to go..and I have a script to work with. Anyway,this ends our Hyrulian adventures.
