Captain N: Re-Edited Episode 7: In Seach of the King!

 One week following the Mother Brain's very brief return to power,the Evil brain and her minions have decided to take a few months off to rejuvenate,after almost a full year of non-stop evil deeds.

With Mother Brain on her long hiatus,peace has been temporarily restored to Videoland. But,even without Mother Brain,The N-Team's adventures will always continue.

It's nighttime at the Palace of Power. Lana is sitting in her chair by her table in her bedroom, talking to a picture of her father, the King.

Lana: Oh, it's been another long day,but for now,all is safe in Videoland. If you should ever return, I hope it will be to a world of peace. But until then, good night, father, wherever you are. I love you.
 
She then kisses it.

Voice: Daughter!

Lana hears the voice, and the image of her father appears in her mirror.

The King: my sweet Lana,Mother Brain had banished me to the Mirror Warp,a Universe on the other side of your mirror, where all things are opposite. Go to the Rainbow Forest on Excalibur. At the end of the rainbow, you shall find the Mirror Warp. Step through it, and you'll find me.

Then the image disappears. Lana goes to Kevin and Simon's bedroom.

Lana: Up an at'em guys,we have a mission. Hurry and get dressed.

The guys are awakened.

Simon: The worst part about being a handsome hunk of hero is having to get up early to save the day.

Later,The entire N Team meets in a giant computer room.

Lana: Mega Man,Pit you two stay behind and look after the Palace.

Kevin: Don't get your hopes up too high,Princess,because, the last time we thought we found the King, it was just a trick by Mother Brain.

Lana: It's different this time,I can feel it in her heart.

Lana, Kevin, Simon, and Duke step through a warp.

On Excalibur,the heroes exit the warp.

Kevin: Let's split up,we'll have a better chance of finding the warp.

Lana: Whoever finds the warp first can signal the others.

The four of them split up and go in different directions - north, south, west, and east - to reach the end of the rainbow faster. Meanwhile, a mysterious, white-bearded figure in a cloak and hood watches them from behind a tree.

Simon passes a sign marked "THE END OF THE RAINBOW". He then meets the mysterious figure.

Simon: Excuse me,I'm looking for the Warp To The Mirror World,have you seen it?

Mysterious figure: Why,It's over there,my boy!

He points Simon to the warp.

Simon then takes the man's hood off. The man looks and sounds exactly like the King.

Simon: Hmm,don't I know you from someplace? I know I've seen you before.

King Look-a-like: I'm just a wanderer.

The man walks away. Simon pulls a trumpet out of his backpack and signals the others.

When the others arrive, Lana, Duke, Simon, and Kevin run through the warp. After coming out,They slide down a rainbow. They walk down a staircase and find the Mirror Warp.

Kevin: This is it,the Mirror Warp.

Lana: We're one step closer to rescuing my father. 

Their reflections make faces at them when they're not looking. Only Duke notices and gets scared.

The King look-alike watches them.

The King look-alike: (quietly) C'mon,go through the warp already.

Kevin: It's now or never! On the count of 3,we make the jump.

The others nod and get ready.

Kevin: One..Two..Three!!!

They jump through the warp, but then their devilish reflections leap into Videoland.

Mirror Kevin: Finally!

Mirror Lana: (wicked smile) With our Goody-Goody doubles trapped in the Mirror Universe,we're free to take over this one!

The King look-alike,now known as the mirror King,appears.

Mirror King: The Universe is ours! But first,we have to go back to the Palace and have an evil celebration.

Mirror King and the Mirror N-Team laugh evilly.

Meanwhile,Within the Mirror Warp...

The N Team members arrive in the Mirror Warp.

Kevin: Time to start the search.

They start looking for the King. Lana leans over to pet a rabbit, but it growls and bares its teeth at her. It hops away, knocking Lana on her butt. Kevin and Simon help Lana to her feet.

Kevin: You ok,Princess?

Lana: I think so. That was unexpected.

Simon then spots a werewolf and whips at it. It tackles him to the ground and then licks him.

Simon: Ugh! Werewolf breath!!

It then leaves.

Kevin: Everything is opposite here,like the King said.

Duke barks. Lana spots a castle.

Lana: Look,a castle,I bet that's where my father is.

Kevin: No Lana,since everything is opposite here,my guess is that you're father is in that nearby poor village.

In the village,they come to a woman hanging dirty laundry.

Lana: Excuse me,but can you help us find the King of Videoland?

Lady: Yeah,he lives in the Tree hut at the end of the Village.

Lana: Thank you.

The N Team members go to the tree hut at the end of the village, and they find Lana's father,King Charles.

King Charles: (surprised,happy) Lana? is that you?

Lana: (on the verge of joyus tears)Oh Father! It is You!

Lana and the King hug.

King Charles: What are you doing here,child?

Lana: We came to rescue you,of course. You told me where you were.

King Charles: I'm afraid you were tricked. When Mother Brain banished me to this warp, my Evil Mirror Image Opposite stepped into our Universe.

Kevin: So the King who talked to Lana,was that Evil Mirror King.

King Charles: Indeed. And with you all here,your evil dopplegangers are free to cause havoc in our Videoland. And unfortunately,you can't go back home unless your opposites step back through the Mirror Warp.

Meanwhile, at the Palace of Power, Mega Man and Pit Icarus are sitting in front of the viewscreen in the same room from "The Most Dangerous Game Master".

Mega Man: It's been 5 hours and no word from the others. I'm getting worried.

Suddenly,The opposites arrive,unknown to Mega and Pit,who confused them with their friends.

Pit: You're back! And you saved the king!

Mirror Lana: Mega Man,Pit Icarus to show His Majesty a royal welcome.

Mega Man: We'll prepare an awesome feast.

Later,after Mega Man and Pit Icarus prepare a large meal. They all sit at a long table. Pigging out and goofing off from the Mirror villains ensues.

Mega Man: Uh, I guess, now that you're back, Your Majesty, you'll be showing all of Videoland's villains who's the boss.

Mirror King: I'll do better than that. I'll invite them all to the party!

This statement shocks Pit and Mega Man.

Mirror Simon greets the villains (all from CastleVania) as they come through the warp. The opposites then dance with each other and with the villains. Mega Man and Pit Icarus have to roll a red carpet wherever the Mirror King dances.

The next morning, in "the strange Mirror World", before sunrise, Lana and her father are sitting outside the hut, talking.

King Charles: That Captain N is quite the hero.

Lana: Yes. I don't know what we would do without him. He's done such a good job as Game Enforcer.

King Charles: So I take it,that Mother Brain's hold on Videoland is now over?

Lana: Yes. Ever since Kevin showed up,we've managed liberate Videoland and beat back all attempts by Mother Brain to retake it. With Kevin,our Team is awesome.

King Charles: I'm surprised Samus isn't on the team

Lana: She's too busy with Bounty Hunting,you know how she is.

They have probably been up all night. Simon walks by, carrying some eggs, falls over, and gets his face covered with eggs.

Simon: Ugh! Breakfast is...ruined!

Kevin then comes by.

Kevin: Ok guys I have an Idea! We might be able to call Mega Man and Pit through one of the Palace's mirrors by using Simon's mirror. Simon walks by again, falls again, and gets his face covered with eggs again. Duke licks the eggs off of Simon's face.

Simon: Stop it! Simon Belmont is a respectable hero, not a dog's breakfast.

Kevin and Lana help Simon to his feet. Lana takes Simon's mirror out of his coat. Kevin takes the mirror, looks into it.

Kevin: (talking at mirror): Mega Man,Pit,can you hear me? .

At the Palace, Mega Man and Pit Icarus are in an empty room.

Mega Man: Our friends are acting weird.

Pit: I wonder what happened caused them to act this Nasty.

Kevin's voice: Pit,Mega Man, can you hear me?

Pit: It's Kevin!

Kevin's image appears in a tall mirror. Surprising them.

Mega Man: Captain N?!! is this a trick?!

Kevin: No trick,guys. When we entered the Mirror Warp,our evil Mirror doppelgangers escaped and the only way we can leave this Universe,is to put them back into the Mirror Warp.

Mega Man: Shh! I hear someone coming.

Mirror Simon walks into the room,

Mirror Simon: And what are you two doing back here?
 
Pit Icarus, who's flying above Mega Man, faces the mirror and pretends to comb his hair. Kevin does the same thing.

Pit: Just combing my hair!

Mirror Simon: Give it up, Pit. No one is as handsome as Simon Belmont.

Mirror Simon leaves the room.

Kevin: I need you 2 to bring those phoney N Team dudes to the Mirror Warp

Kevin's image disappears. Mega Man and Pit Icarus go into the other room.

Mega Man: The party's over, you Nasty Team. We know all about you.

Mirror King: Well, if you know all about us, then you know we're going to...get you. Get them!

Mega Man opens a vacuum warp to the Garbage World. All of the CastleVania villains are pulled into it and end up in the Garbage World.

Mirror King: Drop your bow,Pit Icarus. your King Commands it!

Pit drops the bow and Mega Man catches it. He fires a rope arrow at the opposites and ties them up.

Meanwhile, back in "the Mirror World", Kevin, Duke, Lana, Simon, and the King await the arrival of "their devilish counterparts".

Kevin: Hopefully,Pit and Mega Man managed to capture our doubles. 

Voice: Prepare to be Destroyed!!!

The N-Team and King turn around to see Mirror Mega Man and Mirror Pit arriving.

Mirror Mega Man and Mirror Pit Icarus attacks them.

Kevin: Man! I forgot about those two!

Kevin and Simon fight them.

Mega Man and Pit Icarus return Mirror King, Mirror Kevin, Mirror Duke,Mirror Lana, and Mirror Simon to the Mirror Warp. The opposites break free of the ropes and catch the heroes,causing them to cry out. They prepare to toss Mega Man and Pit Icarus through the warp.

Mirror King: With these two trapped within the Warp,Our Pit and Mega Man will be able to join us and then we'll be a complete team.
 
Mirror Mega Man: Our King is here! Get ready to make the switch.

Kevin: (cries) No!

Mirror Kid Icarus fires an elastic arrow through the Mirror Warp at Mega Man and Pit,but they manage to escape the villains and The elastic band surrounds Mirror King, Mirror Kevin, Mirror Lana, Mirror Simon, and Mirror Duke instead.

Simon whips Mirror Mega Man and Mirror Kid Icarus away from the Mirror Warp. Kevin, Lana, Simon, Duke, and the King run towards the Mirror Warp. Mirror Lana gets free of the elastic band by grabbing hold of the rainbow that appears next to her. Lana falls. Mirror Kevin, Mirror Simon, Mirror King, and Mirror Duke are pulled into the Mirror Warp. Kevin, Simon, the King, and Duke run into the Mirror Warp. Kevin, Simon, the King, and Duke arrive back in Videoland. Mirror Kevin, Mirror Simon, Mirror King, and Mirror Duke arrive back in the Mirror Warp.

Kevin sees Lana pressing her hands against the Mirror Warp.

Kevin: (cries out) Lana,No!!!  She didn't make it out. We have to get that Mirror Lana back into the warp.
 
Mirror Lana: (backing away) No way,dudes! .

Lana walks over to the Mirror Warp and presses her hands against it.

Lana:  At least you're safe, father. It's best for Videoland this way.

King Charles: No. I can't let you do this for me.

Mirror King puts her left arm around Lana and pulls her away from the Mirror Warp, choking her. The King grabs Mirror Lana and puts her into the Mirror Warp. Mirror Lana pulls the King into the Mirror Warp with her. Lana arrives back in Videoland. The King, Mirror King, and Mirror Lana arrive back in the Mirror Warp. Lightning flashes. Thunder crashes.

Mirror King: You Fool!!

The Mirror Warp shatters and is destroyed. A saddened Lana picks up a piece of the Mirror Warp and talks with her father for a while.

Lana: Oh, no! Father, why?!

King Charles: It's better this way, Lana. You have a long life ahead of you, and Kevin is doing a fine job defending the Universe.

Lana: But I'll never see you again!

King Charles: Never say never, my child. If there is another way out, I'll find it. Good-bye, my little princess!

His image disappears. Lana kisses the Mirror Warp fragment, it shatters in her hands

Lana: Good-bye, father!

Kevin: Your father's a strong man, Princess. He'll be okay.

Lana: Guess I should look on the bright side, huh, Kevin? At least I got to spend a day with him.

I think this came out okay though. So anyway,that does it for the "Season 1" episodes. now it's on to the adventures from Season 2.
